Computer Science test results

2nd semester of the academic year 2018-19

The informatics course for Medicine students (Groups 8-12 only) and Dentistry (Groups 13-27) students will start on the 1st week of the semester (11th of February) with exemption tests.

Students must write the exemption tests on the first week (11/02/2019-15/09/2018). Students MUST register on the Neptun system for the Computer Science course BEFORE writing the exemption test! Without registration, there is no way to write the exemption test, or to do the course! Every first year student should write the exemption test with their own group, in the given time (see the timetable below or your own timetable, e.g. Group 12 will write test at Tuesday, 8:00 AM).

First year students who miss/skip the exemption test, but signed up for the course in the Neptun must attend the course and do the final test at the end.

Students passing the exemption test will automatically receive grade 5 (excellent) at the end of the course.

Students who will fail the exemption test must attend the course and do the final test at the end.

Older (2nd, 3rd, etc. year) students, are not allowed to write the exemption test, they have to do the whole course as well.

The results will be posted at the Monday (18/February/2019).

For students attending the informatics course a maximum of 4 absences are allowed during the semester to receive a signature (we recommend to use as few as possible, in case an emergency comes up). This is taken very seriously! Missing more than 4 classes automatically means losing the chance to pass the course. There will be a final test at the end of the semester.

Location of exemption tests and informatics classes: Educational Center, room 005, basement.

Notes:

a, Students having ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) are not required to write the exemption test, instead, they can submit exemption request to the Education Office.

b, Please do not submit exemption request from the informatics course, even if you studied informatics before coming to Debrecen (exception: ECDL, see above). Please do the exemption test instead. No exemption will be given without passing the exemption test.
